So i met this girl on the internet and we are going to meet tomorrow. We have been talking for about a month, and she seems really nice and we seem to have similar interests, like japan, and music. I have her facebook so i know that she isn't someone she says she is. I have to drive pretty far to her area so she really has to suggest where we go.

This would be my first time doing this...how many of you have? I keep thinking its going to be terribly awkward.

I've done it before. It's no big deal unless you make it an issue. Whatever you do, do not use the word "awkward" anywhere. It's only weird if you make it weird.

Don't exhibit any insecurities and whatnot. Even though she is suggesting the venue, you must take the lead otherwise whatever attraction she had for you will quickly diminish. Have a great time then come back with an update and pics.

I met a girl once online too... when I saw her in real life, she looked like she ate the girl in the picture that she gave me .

I met a girl online once (dated '04-'05). At first, I was afraid she won't look as good as her pic. After I saw her, for a second, I was nervous I didn't look as good as my pic

Dated for an year. Then, she married some other guy.
