Hello, at the moment I have a Rogers router/modem in bridge confirmation. It’s connected to a Netgear R6220 router that has DHCP running but I have the wifi disabled. I have two dumb switches and a unifi ap-lite and an Apple extreme router in AP. The Apple router is connected to my IOT devices where the unifi is for iPhones and iPads. The kids gaming systems and computers are hardwired. Between 2 and 3 weeks I have to restart the Netgear router because it stops giving IP address. I can use static IP’s and it will work but not every device. After I restart, everything works most of the time. Last time my iPad connected to the unifi and had full bars but no internet intermittently. The next day it was fine. The same thing also happened when I had the Rogers modem/router as the main dhcp. I actually had it replaced as it wouldn’t give IP address even after I reset it. I’ve had different combinations of routers trying to solve the issue but seeing it’s intermittent and sometime it’ll go two months without happening, it’s hard to pin point. I’ve put my network in UPS thinking it was a power issue with no luck. I am ready to rip everything out and replace it. Any ideas would be appreciated.
