Question Intermittent wifi problem

Hello, at the moment I have a Rogers router/modem in bridge confirmation. It’s connected to a Netgear R6220 router that has DHCP running but I have the wifi disabled. I have two dumb switches and a unifi ap-lite and an Apple extreme router in AP. The Apple router is connected to my IOT devices where the unifi is for iPhones and iPads. The kids gaming systems and computers are hardwired. Between 2 and 3 weeks I have to restart the Netgear router because it stops giving IP address. I can use static IP’s and it will work but not every device. After I restart, everything works most of the time. Last time my iPad connected to the unifi and had full bars but no internet intermittently. The next day it was fine. The same thing also happened when I had the Rogers modem/router as the main dhcp. I actually had it replaced as it wouldn’t give IP address even after I reset it. I’ve had different combinations of routers trying to solve the issue but seeing it’s intermittent and sometime it’ll go two months without happening, it’s hard to pin point. I’ve put my network in UPS thinking it was a power issue with no luck. I am ready to rip everything out and replace it. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

possible you have DHCP server active on the Apple Extreme, and your running into 2 DHCP servers fighting over dominance?

Typically you want to disable all the DHCP servers unless you separate them.

Example... one should be DHCP for ip ranges 192.168.x.x and the other 192.168.x+1.x
So you dont have 2 routers trying to assign the same DHCP on the same subsets.

You said Netgear R6220 router also has DHCP running, you just disabled its Wi-Fi.

Yes, that’s the main router. The Rogers modem/router is in bridge mode and connected to the Netgear through its wan port

Have you updated Netgear's firmware? Do you have extra power block that's compatible with Netgear?

I also suspect that there are rogue DHCP servers on the network giving out conflicting IP addresses.

are you sure you only have 1 DHCP on these devices...
Its not your modem, its your Apple and Netgears that we are suspecting.

I agree it does seem like there may be a conflict but I checked and it’s not enabled. I will take the Apple router out of the network and try that.

that would be the easiest way to check as i am certain without a doubt its not the unifi AP.
