The 'enhance pointer precision' button resets to off after reboot.

Anyone else have this problem?

Win XP RC1
MS Intellimouse with IntelliEye.
 
If you did an upgrade for win2k, you will need to reinstall the drivers to get full functionality even though all looks well.

When did 4.0 come out?
 
I'm not sure what you by 'reinstalling the drivers'. I deleted the mouse from the device manager before running the 4.0 setup program. No effect.

Does anyone know of a registy setting?

Also, the RTM version of XP works without issue...or, so I've heard.
