Intellipoint 4.0 problem

The 'enhance pointer precision' button resets to off after reboot.

Anyone else have this problem?

Win XP RC1
MS Intellimouse with IntelliEye.

If you did an upgrade for win2k, you will need to reinstall the drivers to get full functionality even though all looks well.

When did 4.0 come out?

yeah, i never saw it on the site. it still has 3.2.

I'm not sure what you by 'reinstalling the drivers'. I deleted the mouse from the device manager before running the 4.0 setup program. No effect.

Does anyone know of a registy setting?

It might have o do with the fact you are running RC1. I run RC2 w/o any problems.

Also, the RTM version of XP works without issue...or, so I've heard.
