I agree . That link looks like a stock 6700K run and numbers are in line with it. The one Sweepr posted is done on x64 version of the benchmark(higher scores on x64) and most likely not at stock.

Hard to say. Either way, here's 3 new Core i7 6700K 32-bit results:

Ok now to business. We're going to have a lot of leaks/reviews this week, some users might get lost among this thread's pages. To avoid this I will immediately update the OP with the leaks, news, reviews and comparisons out there so don't panic, please check out the first page. 😉

Can we stop talking about CPU fans and APUs that no one cares about while we are at it?

Sorry if this has been answered, but have they announced if Kaby lake will drop into 170 mobos? Will there be a new chipset for Kaby lake?

I'd say it's likely that Kaby Lake will be compatible and I'm sure they will come up with something to justify a new chipset. OTOH, Cannonlake was rumored to not come to desktop sockets at all... but if it does you can probably guess it won't be compatible.

I'm impatient as well (especially with Asus lol). So who is good at fining the place holders on newegg for the cpu and motherboards lol. Also has anyone heard anything about Microcenter about prices deals/bundle?

http://benchlife.info/skylake-s-cpu-price-show-as-1k-per-unit-08032015/

MSRP prices:
Intel Core i7-6700K $316
Intel Core i7-6700 $282
Intel Core i5-6600K $225
Intel Core i5-6600 $199
Intel Core i5-6500 $179
Intel Core i5-6400 $170
Intel Core i7-6700T $282
Intel Core i5-6600T $199
Intel Core i5-6500T $179
Intel Core i5-6400T $170

Oh... that i5-6400/6400T looks mighty good. I had a power surge and my less than a month old i5 build got fried.

Hopefully the entry level MBs for Skylake won't be that expensive, or I will be mighty hard to convince the wife to spend money one computer again...

Intel using their monopoly power to screw over consumers. :whiste:

Q1 2015

I believe they got their message.
