Wife works at walmart so we qualify.

I have 3 comps in my house right now that are using edge purchases.

My server is a P4 1.7 that was an edge purchase
Second comp is a 2.53
My main rig is a P4 3.4 fron the last year.

gonna get this new set-up and build a new rig

gonna give the main rig to the wife 😉

She may go to the live event for the instant verification 😉

If you qualify get it you can not build for less folks.

And DO NOT ebay your set that is against the rules and it pisses me off. (I did not get in the one before last sold out in HOURS)
 
Do I have to work at one of those locations? Or does a family member have to? I wonder if I could just BS it, or will they cross reference everything.

They verify employment by calling the retailer you work for, so don't even try to cheat.

Last year we got an email that they had verified employment but it took FOREVER,

This year you can Verify @ the live event so My wife will probobly do that

verification takes a long process, so will that delay the chances of you getting the merch? or.. not? cause i have 7500, and is it first come first serve? i dont get the whole process of getting this stellar deal 🙂
 
I figured they'd have a P-D/945 bundle, but I was kind of hoping they'd go for a 830 this time, since they went with a midrange 500-series chip last year. Still not a bad deal, though. Too bad I'm not working my part time retail job this year.

If you hit 10K you are promised one.

If you don't hit 10K then you have no assurances that you will get one.

I would try and get to the live event if you only have 7500 so you get verified right away.
