No doubt, though the game has had some performance issues after patches from time to time.
Owner probably wishes that had been the only game or issue being experienced. They have a laundry list instead. Now they have the dilemma so many impacted users face: Do you RMA and trust the new one will be fine? Or do you ask for a refund and switch platforms? Switch to older Alder Lake, as some owners have?

Please provide a refund

Crashtor lake is about to be the WORST generation in history, to the point that AMD Thunderbird and Intel Apollo Lake sudden deaths might end spared. Heck, it made PRESCOTT become decent compared to Crashtor! At least the former won't have sudden crashes.

What Tunderbird sudden deaths? You mean if you pulled a Tom's a ripped the HSF off? Now Northwood had a sudden death problem.

The one of the HSF, sadly despite the AMD way to put the processor is hella solid, it could burn instantly.

Now, about the Northwood, what is the sudden death problem?

Heatsinks back then were absolute garbage as far as mounting was concerned. I'm surprised I didn't destroy my motherboard when the screwdriver slipped and smashed into it. Eventually the put little sideguards on to prevent that.

As for SNDS, here is a link. Overclocked or more specifically overvolted CPU's would just die. Not degrade, just die.

After experiencing the heat my 12700K produces, can't imagine how much worse 13600K (we actually have a user here who complained it's not easy to cool), 14600K, 14900K and especially the 14900KS can be in maintaining stable and reliable operation in ambient summer temps. The only place where these chips deserve to be used is Siberia.

Any idea if the Raptor Lake-U Refresh CPUs be safe from these problems? Been rather enjoying how cool and quiet my craptop with a Core 5 120U has been.

Only two P cores. Also, max speed is 5 GHz. There used to be a guy here who was obsessed with Alder/Raptor Lake and according to his extensive cinemama testing, he was positive that running these chips beyond 5 GHz was the real source of Intel's problems.

Your CPU also gives me an idea. What does Intel have against making a dual socket micro ATX mobo with two of these chips soldered??? People would pay for it, especially for faster LLM performance since each CPU would have access to its own pool of dedicated RAM, thus doubling the effective RAM bandwidth. There are tons of ways to make money in their current financial problematic situation but it's like they hate the very smell of fresh money.
