I'm not privy to arguments that there's a mythical glob of shart that if only the designers could rip out unlock peak PPC
Ah well it's an eons old aa64 shill point.
Now Royal OTOH, if it's true that x86S was a gimmick specifically for RYC, stripped legacy bits that would've made people unhappy
Joke's on them, RYC was an even bigger (literally hueg) shart.

RYC would make 2 Lion Cove look smaller

On a sidenote wish the MT was 1.69X it would have been memeworthy 🤣.

Royal Core big fat x86S core that was so big and clocked so low that it was embarrassing even LNC looks good against it.
Source?

You know Debbie Marr's startup seems to be going well. Pat just cut her funding because he wanted to divert everything to the fabs.

Also, don't discount Pat's religion. IDC had an influence on him because of that. Maybe IDC was afraid of Debbie outshining them.

Were they aiming for high 1t at the expense of everything?

First the religion in Israel is different than Pat's religion also he did the right thing cutting Royal Core funding should have done so and started UC Early and diverted some fund to falcon shores. RYC was started under Swan iirc

Yes precisely they wanted peak St and wanted the atom cores to cover the MT Perf/mm2.

I don't know much about Geekbench
Even so, in the case of ARM, the score is increased with SME...
After all, SPEC2017 is the best in this case

There was a fool who said that it was made with TSMC N2 on Twitter(X) and that he could expect a Nova Lake...
It's foolish to have high hopes for such a crap...

It's like magic that you can expect it just by being made with N2 lol
There's no such thing as magic, It's ridiculing semiconductor designers

This guy is proud to say that he has the knowledge that he can see a lot of things...
To be honest, it's ridiculous to say that you can expect Nova Lake even though you have that knowledge lol
Well, if Intel goes bankrupt, my favorite x86 becomes weaker and my disliked ARM will increase further... It shouldn't be crushed, after all Competitors are important

Intel won't go bankrupt tbh government will find a way to keep it alive like they have done with Boeing.

Well, the factory is valid
And when Intel runs out, AMD will have to expand and enact x86 instructions...
Basically, AMD does not create or add AMD's own extension instructions after Ryzen.
I think Ryzen and later are in line with the implementation of Intel.
Well, that would be less of a compatibility issue and less trouble.

Personally, Intel can only be AMD AMD because it is Intel That's what it feels like
I need both
I want another company It's x86 triangle

It seems Intel is still waging a war of transistors and barely making their mark.

I have to wonder. If additional transistors could've been used to bump speeds, why didn't they create an almost 7 GHz P-core? Let's call this 7 GHz beast core, well, Beast Cove. So,

Halo chip configuration:

4 Beast Coves
8 Lion Coves
16 Skymonts

That could've been the 40 core beast CPU Intel really needed. They don't care about the size of their die and power cost. So why didn't they go all in? It's kind of like spending over $1000 for a laptop but saving $200 to get 16GB RAM instead of 32GB. Dumb move.

Me. stupidly arrogantly angrily viciously grief-strickenly disappointed.

Guess I'll have to hug my Bartlett Lake and Arrow Refresh PCs unless Nova Lake has something exciting in it (like really low RAM latency or overclocking speeds approaching 11000 MT/s).
