The silver lining is ARC reddit Alchemist owners are saying the listed performance improvements for B-series works for them too. Why not list it for the A as well? Do they not realize long term customer support is important for long term customer loyalty? Did they forget that somehow or something?

They have a WHOLE different folder just for Battlemage. Open the readme files for proof. I guess they don't have to pay for server bandwidth because they are making every non-Battlemage user download the Battlemage driver too.

Notice the word (Beta) in 25.1.1???? You cannot update to 25.1.1 until the driver is official in Adrenaline. They updated the 24.12.1 from 11/27 to 12/6/24 I don't know why other than it makes the driver appear a month newer. I can screen shot my driver if you would like.
Are you illiterate?
It's 'Beta' because it's not WHQL.
The actual beta drivers are under Radeon Vanguard program.

All that aside Does WHQL do anything ? From Windows QC it doesn't look WHQL is something to write about also
AMDs Driver support fine but is not as long as Intel or Nvidias

No full Battlemage driver update since B580 launch, media driver not yet updated. Alchemist uses a newer media driver for this reason, it's on a much newer main branch. Seems like Intel is struggling on the driver side with three different main architectures they have to work on from Xe1 to Xe3.

I guess things were getting delayed with battlemage and drivers were not ready so they instead released it in this state and BMG is not updated afaik

Nvidia left a huge opening for the B770 if it can equal a 4070 or come very close with 16GB of Vram. There are no good games that require massive GPU power today. The games that do are not any good. 1440p @Med/high settings with 144-165fps is all people really want. I would argue 100fps is all you really need.

Power efficiency is more important than huge fps performance. The 4070 did it all with 160-195w while under load gaming.

The B770 would be ~250W if I have to guess it will have more AI performance than 5070 though from Nvidia's Spec Sheet at least the AI Performance will match 4070 ti Super🤣

I'm shocked, and impressed that they're still out of stock at least at MSRP. I did actually see a Newegg combo in stock with the Steel Legend which I want, and a PSU, which I could use. But the PSU wasn't modular, I was unaware that outside of the cheapest entry level ones they still make PSU's that have 1 huge rats nest of cables coming out lol. And unsurprisingly I guess, even that combo sold out quickly.

I wonder when I'll be able to find a Steel Legend in stock that's not marked up to hell.

Has anyone been tracking B580 stock?
I desire to buy an Intel B580, entirely out of curiosity. But I haven't seen them in stock at Newegg for weeks now.

The Variable Register Thread in Xe3 is similar to RDNA4's dynamic register allocation.
Gen already did this before, it kinda went away with Gen11 or Gen12.
Not super useful on Intel either since they offload pretty much everything RTRT onto the mysterymeat blob.
I’ll be honest, I don’t think anyone cares about B580 stock. I’ve see no one talk about online at all.
g-d bless RDNA4
