Is "Core 2 Quadro" really what it'll be called? It seems like that would be inviting nvidia to sue them, since they've had the "Quadro" line of workstation cards for some time now.
Plus Quadro literally means 4. It's like trying to trademark the words "Uno", Duo", or "Trio".Originally posted by: keeleysam

I highly doubt nVIDIA would do anything like that, now that they are getting into bed with Intel.

So does anyone know what the name of this chip is going to be?
It'll be an EE CPU, so Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme?
[edit: BTW, I'm considering giving up computers, and just taking up crack/meth. I'm pretty sure it would save me quite a bit of money.![]()
I'd give anyone an 8-ball for a E6400. Unfortunately, I don't have one. I have a Skt. 754 3700 (stock 2.4 Ghz, with 1MB L2) system, and a Skt. 939 4400-based system, along with an unopened Skt. 939 4000 (same specs as the Skt 754 3700). I'm sitting this one out, waiting until the dust settles, so to speak.Originally posted by: EXEEMLITE
