replay value goes down the hole after leveling 1 or 2 characters to max.

Diablo LoD is stupidly addictive, it should come with a message on the box

"Warning, may cause loss of Girl Friend"

That game was awesome. Sometimes I really want to play it again. Sold my account about 3 years ago for $150.

DII is one of my all time favorite games. I wasted more hours playing that game than any other. Kiss all your free time goodbye and possibly much of your sleep time as well.

I still haven't passed that game with the Necromancer. Maybe I'll take another stab at it after I finish BFME.

Played it on and off for many years. WOW finally got me off that addiction and into another. I wish I still had my account though... had 3 dueling sorcs with the absolute best gear for their respective elements. Probably could have sold the account for quite a bit.

The extra act in the expansion is really cool, but I find the game is getting a little long in the tooth for me.

I was just thinking about that this morning. It'd be pretty fun in this .NET training class I'm in right now. :frown:

Why the hell would install D2 + LoD with Guild Wars coming out by the end of the week?

And yes, it is EXTREMELY addictive. Whether it's leveling your characters, or MFing for the best equipment, that evil game sucks you in.

BTW, don't do single player, MP r0x0rz!

edit: After a few day's worth of gaming, I have come to the conclusion that;

It's . . . fun, but not world-shattering, IMO.

meh it's addictive at first but then after awhile of playing, the weak gameplay become painfully obvious.

Addictive as hell. I've played it on and off for about 2 years, including spending my entire summer with it. I hate meeting new people who play the game and then convincing me to join them...
BTW, real men play Hardcore.

Edit: I would recommend you haxxor and use maphack... Or else, it can get very tiresome running around (which was why I was always a Sorceress (teleport)).

Well, I'm not into MMORPGs to being with, so I had no idea - from what I've seen so far, a lot of the ridiculously high leveled (~90) characters were running the rest of us peons through, beating the game for us.

It might have ruined the experience, but it wasn't taht great to begin with.

What do you guys think - am I not giving it a fair chance? Am I killing it? Should I go back? And what is the most beginner-friendly class to use?
