that is gf100 from oct 2009. 299 price and 225 tdp are from chiphells nv shill & pcie power plug guestimations respectively.
 
I agree, $300 GTX580 performance wouldn't be bad. Too bad that article (according to Google translate) made no mention of it's performance, just an alleged price and TDP.

Although this whole thing is pretty funny, I'm a little bummed that we can't seem to find any even remotely reliable data on GK104 or GK100.
 
I'm not sure how you can tell that GK104 is disappointing just from a die shot and price. Even if it were an actual GK104 die.

Coming from a guy who only owns AMD chipsets, chips and video cards, you sound like you were actually tempted to switch to Kepler once it comes out?
