accept remembering the damn accuount ID. 🙂

I just keep a little slip of paper in my wallet with the number on it. Simple as that.

*steals pyonir's wallet*

Won't do you much good. You still need my PIN and answer the third question, which ever one may come up. 🙂

I remember the commercials for this company, always drive me nuts when there wasnt anything before ING... =P

Are there set times when interest rates on CDs change, or can they change at any time the bank wants to change 'em? (Prior to locking in a rate, that is)

I'm getting 2.75% on a checking account through Presidential Bank Online.

$1500 to open
$1000 minimum
requires an electronic monthly deposit of $200 or more from payroll

Pretty good, but what happens if you go below the minimum balance?

Curious to know as well.

Most likely you're charged a monthly fee.

Someone please call Presidential Bank at 800-799-1424 to find out.

Never really understood this. "Hey, since you've got less money, we'll take some of it away every month." You would think they would charge people with LOTS of money.

Anyway, I like the flexibility of totally emptying my ING account when the need arises.

I too noticed the new 2.1% APY. to them!

Current Annual Percentage Yield: 2.10%
Get more info on your rate.
Interest Paid Year to Date: $70.00
Interest Earned This Month: $0.45

Huh? People with LOTS of money give them the opportunity to invest LOTS of money... why would they wanna charge their best customers extra? 😕 Someone with LOTS of money is gaining the same interest as you are, although they give the financial institution more money to invest. Of course they won't charge people with LOTS of money...
