You used the word "logically." Hmmm.
Love to know why my use of it is wrong. I have no idea. Ironic if true but happy to hear why.
Also I'm not trying to personally insult you.
Its my belief you'd be just fine with an s9. I don't believe for one second it requires any case that wraps up over the screen edges. That's just needless overkill.
I can understand if you hate the screen edges for aesthetic reasons. But "because it's guaranteed to break!" isn't really a valid reason, IMO.
Put a normal case on an s9 if you must have one and yes, always be careful with the phone as I'd say for any smartphone, and I'd bet anything you'll be fine with it.
And of course get the insurance for the phone. That covers all the other what-if scenarios, same as for any phone, infinity display or not.
You have friends that happen to have cracked the screens on their phones, but we all do.
Whenever I go to my kids school I'm simply stunned at what I consider the 'mommy phone'. Almost every mom I see there has her iPhone wrapped in a brick of bright colored plastic... and the screen cracked to hell and back! Doesn't matter what type of phone ... so many cracked screens, even in those big dumb cases.
The reasons with only the slightest observation becomes apparent: they all dangle their phones about carelessly, let their little kids play with it (my kids mess with my wife's iPhone but they practically have a restraining order to stay 500 feet away from Pop's phone at all times) etc etc.
My fave 'mommy phone' was one lady who uses what I have to guess is just a strip of packaging tape as her 'screen protector'. Almost all of them have terribly applied screen protectors with bubbles and gaps...and various stages of cracks both in the protector and glass under.
Just an astonishing array of the most wretchedly adorned smartphones I personally witness regularly. And my firm belief its their distracted mom behaviors that smash up their phones, not the designs of the phones themselves.
