it is not slower than a WRX. STock LGT's are capable of 13.9 quarter miles (rare, but a number of people have done) -- easily low 14's though. A legacy will outpull a WRX every time.

plus, a 600 dollar ECU reflash and you've got a 290hp / 305ft/lbs monster on your hand. (the beauty of a turboed car.)

You're right, a stock wrx may not be faster than a stock legacy. I think you're overstating that a Legacy will outpull a WRX everytime, however. A legacy weighs more, but has an extra .5L. It would be a drivers race.

Get SRT, it makes 0-60 just under 5 seconds. It costs comparable to g35 but domestic make (actually assembled in Germany) and much more reliable and solid build than 35.

To be honest I'm leaning toward the STi now. The interior isnt quite up to par but the exterior is quite attractive and the performance cant be ignored either :)

man if u want a fast car, for the same amount of money u can lay it down on an EVO or STI, why bother G35 then. You want G35 bc it is pimp mobile, and thats all you need to know or care, it is pimping to have a G35. Period.

I bought one yesterday and it doesn't seem slow to me although I'm used to driving a Sentra SE-R.

I'm am seriously considering getting a G35x within the next 2 weeks myself.

The one thing that bothers me about it is the mileage. It gets 17 MPG or worse which is even worse than my SUV.

if you want performance then why are you looking at a g35?

get an evo and be done with it.

turbo car like you want, and plenty of aftermarket options to make it over 800hp.

the evo will blow the doors off the g35 any day of the week.

Search on ?transmission? (Transmissions are blowing up)
Search on ?Back pain? or ?Tire Wear? (Cars are shedding tires because of 2% negative camber in the back making the cars sound like Hummers after 8,000 miles and costing owners allot in replacements)
Search on Brakes
Or go the web link on G35 Class Action Lawsuit about this <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="https://www.lawyersandsettlements.com/case/nissanna">https://www.lawyersandsettlements.com/case/nissanna</a>

You can also read about the class action lawsuit on 350Z that also seem to affect G35?s

I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I don't have any problem mentioned. I have a 2005 G35c, purchased in this past January.

The class action is for models in 2003 and 2004.
