well, if this is a jacked up G35 wagon, the murano is a jacked up altima wagon.

Muranos run in the Lower 30's.

I went to the New Orleans auto show tonight and saw this thing in person for the first time.

I like it a lot. However, the V8 is out of my price range. I need to go test drive the 35 and 45 and see how I like them.

All we can say is that it worked flawlessly. Just don't leave it inside the car (in which case the car will beep at you disapprovingly)."

Been there, done that. VW, Mercedes and Audi, BMW already have that feature. But agreed that it is cool.

So why do you keep calling it a SUV?

EDIT: bad tags

I said SUV, not off-roading machine. SUV does not have to equal off-roader. SUV stands for Sport Utility Vehicle. The Infiniti has more "sport" than 99% of the other SUVs on the market and it has plenty of "utility." A Honda Pilot is an SUV, a Highlander is an SUV...but I wouldn't take either one off-road. Same goes for the FX45.

A BMW X5 is no where close to be an off-roader. A VW Touareg OTOH is.[/quote]

Seriously the closest comparision to this wagon on stilts would be the Audi Allroad. But then the Audi Allroad (aside from looking macho beefy wagonish) would whup it's ass. Both onroad and offroad....

The styling kinda reminds me of a Chrysler Pacifica... like this

But the FX definitely looks more muscular and aggressive. And I think you can prolly squeeze more powa out of the V8... it has the same engine as the Q?
Plz don't buy in that orange color... it hurts peoples eyes... :p

Chrysler called the Pacifica crossover a segment buster like their minivan back in the 80's. Yet the Murano and FX45 beats it to market. :)

Inspite of what BS Chrysler would like you to believe, The Pacifica is essentially a minivan in drag clothes...:disgust: The FX45 atleast has some sporting characteristics to speak of.
