Whoa, sweet. Thanks dude. Used 1 for InFamous and the other for Gran Turismo 5. Both worked.

Have you tried the Infamous power yet? I keep forgetting about it every time I play.

Got to the flooded city (3rd area) and I really like it. The ice guys are a challenge and the whole flooded city thing changes the way you play quite a bit. Now you have to pay attention where you're landing and how you attack, but you also have new hazards for the enemies who fall into the water. It adds a nice change of pace to the game that I think the first one was missing.

It's very very rare that I ever will or even want to replay a game, but I may pull myself to playing this again as a good guy with ice powers. Still a ton of games on my plate though so it's hard to say.

I've used it a bit. It's kinda useful in some situations. It replaces the energy blast (L1 + X), with a focused blast that travels just a tad farther than the regular blast. Most of the time I just prefer the regular energy blast though.

I agree with you about replaying games. Very rarely do I ever have the motivation to do it, but I did start a 2nd play through with inFamous 2. I don't think I'll pick it up again for quite a while though. I marathoned the first one to get it done the day before the sequel came out, so I'm kinda inFamoused out.

I'm enjoying it quite a bit. On my third playthrough - had to replay the good karma side since the evil side made me feel dirty. Movement is improved over the originally, significantly. Eventually anyway - I really wish the lasso had come much earlier in the game, and that it had a 'let go' button for spideman-esque swing.

Powers are all over the map in terms of utility. Some, like the pincer bolt, come early an remain useful. Others, like the scythe bolt, I've never had any actual use for. The other powers are similarly very varied in actual utility.

Funny how much more XP you can gain early on once you know what you're doing. For example, a standard militiaman in the first section gets you 5 xp for a knockdown. If instead of just shooting him though, you jump onto a ledge and knock him off, he's worth 30xp - 5 for the takedown, 15 for 'watch your step', 5 for being an environmental kill, and another 5 for climbing.

I only have one major complaint - "Skip cutscene" is supposed to, y'know, skip the cutscene, not replace it with another cutscene.

Completed the game last night as a hero. Really had a lot of fun with it. Excluding all games set for release in November of this year, Infamous 2 is probably my favorite game of 2011! :D

I actually use the scythe bolt more than anything. The way I play I'm almost always shooting on the move, trying to strafe around enemies to line up multiples in one shot. It's hard to utilize something like the pincer bolt when you're moving around so much, and I find the spread of the scythe bolt better for me vs. the reduction in damage.

I love the machine gun bolt (I forget the name). In fact, I like the good powers a lot more than the evil ones mostly. The ice jump is so awesome. I still prefer being evil, though.

Maybe it varies more with playstyle then I realized.

I just got the bolt that pulls you to your target. Can't wait to start using that one. I do still really miss Cole's voice from the first inFamous in the comic-book cutscenes, but I'm really having fun with this game. A great sequel.

Just got my platinum trophy. Overall Hard mode wasn't too hard. I found all 305 blast shards again during my second playthrough, too. Those are so fun to hunt down...

Evil ending > Good ending, and for the most part being evil >>>> being good. I hope evil Cole is canon Cole.

Just finally finished it as evil. Not sure how long I'll wait to play through the good side. I did all the side missions + shards but I have 2 dead drops left or so. Not really in a rush to find them either as I'd pretty much need a guide at this point and then visit every single spot until the last 2 are found.

Started my good playthrough. Hard mode makes things a little more difficult. I'm avoiding mobs of enemies more now simply because I can't make quick work of them yet. Still fun though.

I was good for my hard playthrough as well. The ice jump move you get for R2 is amazing. I loved it.
