Doesn't even have to be rock per say. I am just getting tired of the same crap they play on the radio over and over again. When I was home for spring break I listened to XM station Ethel and liked most of what they played on that station.

Some groups that I like that aren't on the radio much (or at all):
Bloc Party
Hot Hot Heat
The Bravery
Spoon
OAR
Shiny Toy Guns
MGMT
Franz Ferdinand
The Postal Service
Death Cab for Cutie
Ben Folds
Cake

Some mainstream stuff I like:
10 Years
3 Doors Down
Dave Matthews
Foo Fighters
The Fray
Goo Goo Dolls
Jimmy Eat World
The Killers
Panic! at the Disco
RHCP
Matchbox 20

So that's what I like. Now make some suggestions.

Consider yourself lucky. If it's not top 40 we don't have it on the radio around here. Anyway thanks for the suggestions.

I believe both stream their content, as does 103.1 from LA... Might be worth checking out at least when you are tethered to your desk ;)

How about The Stone Roses?
Here's some songs off their mid 90's album Second Coming.
It's bluesy guitar rock.

Breaking into Heaven
This is some squirrely fan video, but I'm linking to it for the audio quality.
1st track on the album. Looong buildup for an intro. Really starts around the 4:50 mark. It's all good though, IMO. Video ends after 10 min and a little before the song ends. >_<

Driving South
One of my favorites.

Ten Storey Love Song
Classic.

Good Times

Love Spreads
I know this one got radio play.

(These links should be for the highest available quality, so load times may be longer)

The Stone Roses split after their second album.
Google search

If you have a strong interest in indie and are OK with foregoing mainstream then you might look into a subscription with www.emusic.com to get good value for your money (starting at 30 songs/month for $10).

Artists that I've picked up there:

New Pornographers
The National
Cat Power
Andrew Bird
Arcade Fire
Belle and Sebastian
Beulah
Eliott Smith
Headlights
Beirut
Joanna Newsom (weird but good)
M. Ward
Margot & The Nuclear So & So's
Okkervil River
Spoon
Sufjan Stevens
The Decemberists (before they signed)
Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova (The Frames)
Josh Ritter
Of Montreal
Sigur Ros
