Hey, speaking of indictments, whatever happened with the deleted Secret Service texts??? Wasn’t the DHS Inspector General supposed to refer that over to DOJ for possible criminal charges relating to destruction of presidential records and conspiracy???

Smith had 20 of them testify before the grand jury recently. He's well versed in what the Jan. 6 committee dug up, so I think we will find out when not if Trump's indicted for Jan. 6 coup.

For real, very different. For one, as my Brasilian friend told me, is that the rioters ended up separated from the dozens of buses that brought all of them to the capitol from all over redneck Brasil, as they were surrounded by the police. Brilliant Brasilian MBGATs that they are, they easily believed the police when the police told them that they would escort them on their own police vehicles to their buses, so that they could get back home. The goose-stepping morons happily rode on those buses, fully believing that the thin blue line of Brasilian LEOs were just like them. ...only problem was that the police drove all of them straight to prison. LOL.

Of course, that's different here because the police in the US did no such thing with our homegrown fascist MAGAT shitholes, because they really are just like them. Dozens of LEO, even FEDs and Military traitors, were arrested for trying to end the United States. None outside of the Capitol Police tried to defend the United States.

At least Brasil seems to have some things figured out.

Trump getting a public defender, that literally doesn't have the time to file the proper paperwork for bail and appeals during their 67 cases-per-day schedule, and so Trump has to sit it out at Riker's for weeks and weeks while waiting for court dates...would just be something quite pleasant to see, tbh.

Yet. Remember it takes a few months to years to get around to disbarring or charging them with the crimes they committed in the Great Orange One's name. My guess is he was either recently told about the investigation into him, or was being pressed to do something that would definitely result in an investigation into him, and decided to at least try to get out while the getting is good.

Well, all of Trump's court appearances he turns into campaign rally speeches, and he's using all the crimes he's committed as a basis to ramp up both his campaign fundraising and popularity with his cult, so... it is kinda related to his campaign lol
