So the investigation of the massively corrupt investigation and FBI has so far netted:

1. FBI agent doctored an email.
2. Lawyer lied that he wasn't working for someone else. (Notice there is no claim that the information he presented was inaccurate)

@brandonbull Do you have something material to show the investigation of Russia's attempts to influence the 2016 campaign was illegal or wrong? Because so far these cases don't show that.

Well, it does technically qualify as perjury. I seem to recall the same argument was made when Flynn lied to the FBI, that the FBI knew the truth anyway so the lie wasn't material. Except it was the right making that argument. And it was a bad argument.

That said, this is pretty ticky-tack for a perjury charge. It sounds like Durham couldn't really find much of anything and was desperate to justify the two years and taxpayer dollars spent on his investigation.

Not quite. The FBI knew that Flynn had lied to his superiors over a matter of national security. Sussman did no such thing. Baker never would have met with Sussman other than because of the political connectedness. It's also important to realize that Baker was acting in the capacity of an attorney, not an agent, and that they often push the envelope in dealing with each other privately. It's a chickenshit indictment that speaks poorly of Durham & his office.

Other than faking evidence used for FISA warrants?

Provide some quotes from that story to support your position please. At least then we'll know if you've at least read part of it.

I'm so surprised someone close to Rand and also pardoned by Trump himself would do such a thing. Oh crap, the Orange Menace won't be there for the rescue this time. Imagine also this involves Russian money.

Ex-Rand Paul aide pardoned by Trump now charged with funneling Russian cash to Trump’s campaign | Salon.com
Seems this involves yet another Trump suck up.

No collusion. Nope, nada.

Sounds like the guy may be guilty, if everything in the charging papers is accurate.

Is this all from Durham, or is there going to be more? Because it isn't that impressive a result if that is all. A two year investigation ought to unearth more than one lawyer who was a peripheral figure in all this telling the FBI that he was there on his own behalf when in fact he was there on behalf of a client.
Highly unlikely anything substantial is coming. Don't forget there's a 5 year statute of limitations which we are running right into.

Assuming everything in the document is correct regarding Sussman (may or may not be), this would never have been charged outside of this political investigation. How do we know that? Well, the FBI was already aware of this years after Sussman testified to congress that he was acting on behalf of a client (in contradiction to what it is reported he said to FBI counsel) and they did absolutely nothing with that information.

Not to mention how insanely difficult it will be to prove in court. That he lied, that it was material. This is one witness's recollection from 5 years ago. He said he said.

K.

Look, if Sussman knowingly deceived the FBI for political purposes he should face consequences. Will it happen? Highly unlikely. Is this anything significant with regard to the mission of the Durham report? Absolutely not.

Looks like we got another Russia collusion indictment.

LOL who wants to bet this gets thrown out?

Durham refuses to provide any specifics like, you know, what Sussman actually said and to whom.

It’s because he was a nobody, he was merely the low hanging fruit to make it look like they are doing something.

From what I gathered Lev hated Trump afterwards And he just made it easy for the prosecutor

If I were Rudy I would be very worried and that would make Trump worried

Lev Parnas convicted:

Apparently ... One Kevin McCarthy is on the list of people Parnas funneled money to. He can’t be too thrilled about this latest news. It seems Kevin McCarthy is in the pay of a foreign government, and has been tasked with destroying public faith in elections and the destruction of democracy.

I think there’s a word for this behavior…

The Reichwingers would call that being a "Patriot", to everyone else it is treason.

But.............

The Trump-Alfa Bank Server Mystery Resurfaces (justsecurity.org)

he recent release of the final volume of the Senate Intelligence Committee report on Russian 2016 election interference and two new lawsuits by Russia’s Alfa Bank have brought back into the spotlight the puzzling lack of an explanation for the mysterious communications between the bank and the Trump Organization during the last presidential campaign.

And no, I will not rest until Trump's behind bars.
