Somebody getting a little whatabout-ee?

Not really. Apples to oranges whataboutism... Real whataboutism would be comparing it to the Ken Starr investigation...

You know, that $52 Million Starr probe the costliest ever. Adjusted for inflation? That would be a lot of whatabout...

That would be about $80.3 million in today dollars
Regarding Starr, I’d support Trumps innocence if the investigation moves from Did Trump Collude to Did Trump get pegged by Stormy Daniels and lie to Congress about the pegging.

That thing you said I did isn't actually a crime, not that I did it. Totally didn't do it. You can't prove it. Although not a crime if you manage to prove I did.

Also no puppet, you're the puppet.

They are going through the Narcissist prayer line by line.

That didn’t happen.

And if it did, it wasn’t that bad.

And if it was, that’s not a big deal.

And if it is, that’s not my fault.

And if it was, I didn’t mean it.

And if I did…

You deserved it.
That sounds like the narcissist that used to work for me. No self awareness of it either.

Speaking of collusion, does anyone ever remember or have a link that the DOJ or FBI ever used the term collusion in regards to the conspiracy by this administration to cooperate with Russia interfering with the democratic election process in the country. Let's stop this semantical nonsense.

I really don't know why they would specifically use that term. It's like saying conspiracy is a bridge too far? Soft conspiracy. To me it makes no sense why they are choosing to use that term.
Now I want to go back and find out where the word entered the conversation in the first place.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if it started from the Right to frame the issue with that term.

People first started searching for "collusion trump russia" during the week of November 13 2016, after this piece ran on CNN:
https://www.cnn.com/2016/11/13/politics/rudy-giuliani-donald-trump-russia/index.html

Though I don't think Giuliani used the term collusion there.

The first instance I can find of the word collusion entering the discussions of Trump and Russia are December 11-17 2016, and it might have been Reid that started it:

So if we get to the point where Trump admits he had prior knowledge of the Jr. meeting in Trump tower and never said otherwise, will you Trump supporters buy that?

Rick Gates Testifies He Committed Crimes With Paul Manafort
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/06/us/politics/rick-gates-manafort-trump-trial.html
ALEXANDRIA, VA. — Rick Gates, Paul Manafort’s right-hand man for years, began testifying against his former boss on Monday in federal court in Alexandria, Va. He is considered the most important witness in Mr. Manafort’s trial on tax and bank fraud charges.

Asked by prosecutors whether he was involved in any criminal activity with Mr. Manafort, Mr. Gates responded, “Yes.”

Mr. Gates also testified that he and Mr. Manafort held 15 foreign bank accounts that were not disclosed to the federal government. Mr. Gates said the required financial filings were not submitted “at Mr. Manafort’s direction.”

Mr. Gates admitted to a wide variety of crimes, including bank fraud, tax fraud, money laundering, lying to federal authorities, lying in a court deposition and stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from Mr. Manafort’s accounts by falsely claiming expenses.
