Indian people are the most trustworthy people in this world

I'm selling an HDTV on Craigslist and this Indian guy came to my house to check it out. Typical Indian guy from Silicon Valley, just like I'm from a typical Chinese family.

He comes over and wants to write a check. WHen I tell him cash only because I don't know if he writes bad checks, he tells me how both him and his wife are software engineers and then tacks on how Indian people are teh most trustworthy in the world. I kinda chuckled. I don't know if they're the most trustworthy, but I'm still looking for cash...

Edit 1: I feel like a cheap@$$ for standing in line at Black Friday to get this TV and to sell it off. I remember being surrounded by Indians.

Edit 2: The guy said he'll go get cash and he really did come back. I thought it was a polite way to excuse himself so he wouldn't get the TV. Instead, he did. Finally got this POS off my hands and I made profit from my BF efforts.

I'd probably rate them the least trustworthy, if we're doing this fairly pointless comparison of races.

Never trust a monkey.

One time I hired this monkey to take notes for me in class. At the end of the day the teacher was like "Class I want you to write a report using your notes"... so I wrote a report that said "Hello my name is bango I like to climb on things can I have a bananna eep eep!". I got an F.

When I told my mom about it, she said "I told you, never trust a monkey!"

I have only had one exp. with an Indian couple. Sold a Washer and Dryer on craigslist. $300 for both, they were a new side-by-side set. He asked if it would be ok if he wrote a check, I said no, cash only (i don't trust checks from anyone). Then he tried to jew me down to $275  If I wanted $275 I would have posted $275

NO I WANT $300!

I would only trust an indian as far as I could throw him/her.

So i guess the point of this reply is that I trust skinny indian people more than fat ones..

To add some fuel to the fire...

I think Indian people are very cheap. They run a Subway in the break area at my work, and they charge 20 cents for a plastic fork. Won't give you more then one napkin, even if you ask. And they fired some girl that was giving a reasonable amount of veggies (ie: anything more then the 4 olives, 3 slices of onions, tiny handful of lettuce, etc).

but you need to look at it like this: it is a smart move business-wise.

sucks for us, good for them.
that is why most of them have more bread/butter than we do.
