could someone tell me what could have caused? and how to fix it?
i don't want to have to uninstall it, because i will lose all my stationary that i have collected up. looks like i'm going to have to go a little bit deeper in the files system to manually fix it, i'm just not sure where to go.could someone give me a little help here? thanks in advance for the help. DALE

p.s. this problem, among others, started when i installed the following files to go with bible pro software.
Microsoft Universal Data Access 'MDAC'
thanks again

There are LOTS of problems with incredimail. What I have seen the most is what you just described, It works for a while then just "craps" out on you. The only way that I have been able to resolve this issue is to uninstall it and reinstall it. "I know thats not what you wanted to hear". I would also suggest moving to Outlook Express.

My wife has a similiar problem, but her IncrediMail works more often than not. Sometimes it just crashes with the error you described. The last time I worked on it, I exported her mail (backup to another computer) and copied the stationary directory, uninstalled and then reinstalled. Imported the backups and copied back over the stationary. It worked fine for a while, but started crapping out again. Not sure what is causing the failure. It didn't do it at all with Win98 (worked fine all the time) but works funky with Win2K.

*ahem* IncrediMail is adware/spyware. It should come as no surprise that it causes problems. 😉
