Incline Bench 4 times a week too much?

On chest/triceps day I like to do incline press first. Fairly heavy(at least for me) for about 3x6 at 150. I typically work out chest twice a week.

On back/shoulder day I like to do incline bench after doing front raises to really burn it in. I typically go with 2x12x95 or something in that region.

Detrimental do my growth on both shoulders and my chest? I try not to do shoulder workouts and chest workouts on concecutive days and split it up with either cardio days or legs . . .

I'd cap it to 2-3 times a week of heavy movements. I'd get rid of the benching on the back/shoulder day if it interferes with your ability to progressively increase tension (weight/reps) on the main chest days.

IMHO, WAY too much...

you squat 4 times a week?

Pretty much this, I wouldn't do anything more frequently than I would squat in a week. With that said, when I was on some of my LP programs I would squat fairly heavy 3 times a week so I suppose that would be my limit but honestly I think twice a week is plenty. I also hate incline bench so personally once a week is plenty.

I will workout on my chest twice a week but one will be heavy the other a higher rep range so hitting all fibre types.

Legs is a once a week affair right now; it just drains me so bad! Like I said, incline in shoulder days with light weight just ti compliment front raises... one poster suggested nit that m7ch the rest are talking about squats.

regardless, 4 days a week is excessive by any measure. incline is a more of an accessory lift. It puts a lot of strain on the shoulders, and IMHO, should be done once a week if done heavy.

think about all the work your upper chest/delts are getting throughout the week.

you hit them on chest days with flat bench, incline, and then again on shoulder days with military presses, and OHP... I bet you are hitting them 5 days a week or more if you are specifically doing inclines 4 days a week alone. When do they have time to grow?

4 days a week doesnt allow for recovery. You are burning calories, so thats nice...but it isnt informed programming.

You need to rest your muscles more for growth and strength to occur.
