Sup ya'll
These forums for a while now have been extremely inconsistent with moderation, and I think the community at large are very aware of the causes of all these inconsitencies so I won't get into making a list of them; but I just wanted to let you guys know that we the community do know why these disparities exist and it's safe to say that's why the number of topics about this issue has been brought up a large number of times in recent months. Here are a couple of examples:
BarrySotero recently posted a topic about being harassed by whomever, it's a legitimate concern, and if I were in his situation I would have posted something similar in the PFI forum like he did. However the response he got from a member was inappropriate:
Now the OP did absolutely nothing to said member posting about him and did not solicit an answer from him in any way, and as per moderation:
But alas, absolutely nothing happens to the member calling someone an "uneducated dumbfuck" in a forum where personal issues are supposed to be resolved but somehow a member is banned for calling someone an ass in the forums where I've seen members call for the death of others, among many other terrible things.
The disparity here is undeniable, and it's absolute certain that a mod or mods saw the inappropriate post so it's not like the "well we can't see every post" excuse can come into play here. At the least it's safe to say the member's post was "Over the line, especially in PFI".
Ultimately I would just like to see consistent behavior when issuing punishments for the members here, I do enjoy reading these forums most of the time and appreciate alot of the people in charge here; though I've seen so much inconsistency I thought it was time to say something about it, ya know?
Thanks, care, bye,

Just because you are an uneducated dumbfuck doesn't mean everyone else is too.

That is a personal attack and the target had no interaction with your previously.
