The racists, sexists, and bigots of this world fabricate or fixate on red herring stories and garbage like this to pretend like racism, bigotry, and prejudice do not exist. Meanwhile cops are choking black people to death on sidewalks in broad daylight and white supremacists are shooting up groceries stores like it's just another Tuesday.

Nobody is doing that stuff to you. IF someone is getting fined (and that is a big IF) it is because they are in a position of power and deliberately use wrong pronouns after being warned.
The problem is you don't fully understand the issue. Imagine you are in college with your long hair. A fuckin dipshit professor for a class you need for your major thinks men with long hair is wrong, and starts referring to you every day as she/her, despite your protests. Your classmates take that as a green light to do the same and it spreads across campus. You spend the next 4 years being called she/her by everyone.
Now I know it is difficult for you to empathize with other people. You wouldn't be a conservative if it came naturally. And I'm sure your ego is kicking in as well, and your natural response will likely be "I wouldn't give a shit, I'm not a pansy and don't care what other people think about me" or some similar shit like that. The thing is, you haven't lived your entire life being marginalized. Adults don't randomly throw shit on you just because you have red hair or don't have a soul. It's easy for you to say you wouldn't care because you haven't been persecuted just for being who you are.
What you need to understand is that the world doesn't have to be a shithole. Professsors and other people in power positions don't need to be dicks and regular people shouldn't have to put up with that behavior.
