Wow dude that's an amazingly noble gesture you're doing and for that I give you all the positive thoughts.

Wow seriously you're brave and doing great move for your son.

Good luck and hope you and your son recover quickly.

Don't get pissed when he talks about how much he hates you in five years; it's a son-dad thing.

I've been seeing this thread title but never read it because this is ATOT and I figured it was a joke. But it kept popping up and after the third update I had to look. Wow, wasn't expecting this. So glad your boy is doing well. Had to laugh at the pizza comment. My son would probably be asking for the same. Can't blame him there. Here's to a fast and full recovery for you both.

I'm pretty sure every parent would give their kidney to their kids, but to actually be doing it is amazing. Best wishes. Are you disallowed to do contact sports, etc. from now on though?

We have pics. Caution, not for the faint of heart. Actually they're not too bad. Basically, I have an incision above and to the right (if looking straight on) of my belly button and then inside my belly button. Finally a long incision about 6 inches long right above my nether region. That one is still bandaged.

If anyone wants to, you can send Andrew a get well card here. It's free. His room number is 1204.

Believe it or not, I had a decent midsection before the operation, now I'm all bloated as hell.

Last time I was in the hospital was for a minor case of meningitis. :D Not fun and there were no video games.

Glad everyone is doing better!
