Same here, and I would never drink Corona to boot. The only other beer that is more over-rated is Guinness, but at least that is drinkable.

With Pacifico, Dos Equis, Sol, Modelo, hell even Tecate, I have no idea why Corona caught on as the Mexican "fad beer".

You mean it masks it. Heineken is another beer that is consistently skunky out of the bottle. By that logic, I suppose it too goes well with lime.

Rolling Rock as well. I actually like Pacifico with a wedge of lime myself, but it is pretty good without.

Any beer not brewed in accordance with the German Purity Law is already sub-standard, in my book.

To beat a dead horse, you would have to live in a very remote area to not have a local brewer around that can top anything AB InBev makes/controls.

Pacifica and Modelo are by the same company as Corona. Corona is the #1 selling imported beer in the US, in the top 5 almost everywhere else and Mexico's #1 exported beer, hence why most bars will carry it.

Just because AB InBev is a terrible brewing conglomerate does not mean these beers did not exist before being bought by said conglomerate.

Statistics do not make Corona any better tasting, and the massive proliferation of cheap Chinese crap at Wal-Mart means that most US consumers are morons in my opinion. Pandering to morons with slick advertising is what MongGrel was getting at, and is a valid theory.

The Lexus L series and Toyota Echo are from the same company as well, not that it has anything to do with it.

I like Rum too. Just my go to's.

Tequila is like water to me.

I like to consume. I can easily have a $100 tab for just ultras in a night for myself.

Just my household beverage cost per month is about $500. Not all beer and occasionally we have friends over. My fiancee is preggers so she's not drinking...she likes $10-15 bottles of sweet wines when she does, Apple Pucker, and Margaritas/Daquris.

Right now I am drinking and doing my homework for a python class. When we are out I usually send pics/emails to friends/family. When I hit my email, AT comes up so it's easy to post.

Most of my posts happen during my working hours. I have times where I am locked out of doing work since my computer is locked into an update or upgrade. I can take down a dozen posts in less than a couple minutes.
