Where did I say I hate him?
I feel sorry for his misguided soul. I feel compassion for him. By no means do I "hate" him.
Why would someone mark themselves so they will never hold a reputable job, never earn respect in the typical community and always be viewed as a racist? What kind of example is he going to set for his kids?
For the record, I have tattoos (easily covered) and am the 35th highest paid employee in a company of around 3500 employees.
And?
But, you seem to believe that discriminating against him for having tattoos is just fine.
You made this thread about him, not about the people who judge him on the basis of his tattoos.
It appears that you don't have a problem with her being judged negatively for having that tattoo.
Now, for the guy whose arms you saw, did you ask him why he got those tattoos? Maybe they have some sort of a deep inner meaning for him? It seems a bit presumptuous to assume he did it solely for decorative purposes.

Try getting a reputable job with tattoos and get back to us.

Oh shit, everyone just calm the eff down. Alchemyst is in the house now.
My company condones tattoos and several people in fact display them openly on a regular basis. We are a company that handles industrial automation and integration, and provides project management services.Try getting a reputable job with tattoos and get back to us.
Tattoos are looked down upon in just about every employee handbook. If you can't hide them (Ummm especially neo-nazi tattoos) enjoy your life of unemployment.

Again, most people just hate everyone that's different today.
However; if you are customer-facing and in a real type of professional job, certain tattoos and piercings will be deal breakers.
It also depends on what you do. You can make $100k a year as an underwater welder with tattoos covering your whole body, but you will not do that trying to sell luxury items to many people.
