For the record, I have tattoos (easily covered) and am the 35th highest paid employee in a company of around 3500 employees.

Depending on your 'a/an' usage, it could be a code Hitler.
Example:
"I'd like an Adolf Hitler, please." Or,
"I'd like a Hadolf Hitler, please."
The internet has ruined grammar :(

Where did I say I hate him?

I feel sorry for his misguided soul. I feel compassion for him. By no means do I "hate" him.

But, you seem to believe that discriminating against him for having tattoos is just fine. You made this thread about him, not about the people who judge him on the basis of his tattoos. I know a girl, in her early 20's, who lost her baby when the baby was only a month old. As part of the grieving process, she got the baby's name tattooed (visibly) on her wrist area. It's quite visible unless she has on a very long sleeved shirt and doesn't move her arm at all.

It appears that you don't have a problem with her being judged negatively for having that tattoo. Now, for the guy whose arms you saw, did you ask him why he got those tattoos? Maybe they have some sort of a deep inner meaning for him? It seems a bit presumptuous to assume he did it solely for decorative purposes.

Why would someone mark themselves so they will never hold a reputable job, never earn respect in the typical community and always be viewed as a racist? What kind of example is he going to set for his kids?

Only difference is your marks are how you perceive people.

You made this thread about him, not about the people who judge him on the basis of his tattoos.

Do you remember any of the various threads when someone associated with a company said something, and they were fired because of it? You have freedom of expression, but you do not have a right to embarrass your employer.

Call me silly, but nazi symbols and white power tattooed in visible areas would be an embarrassment to just about any reputable company.

I have no problem with tattoos.

It is the tattoos that promote hate are the ones that bother me.

As for asking him, I would rather not even talk to people like that.

I did however talk to a guy at a wendys several years ago, he seemed nice. He had a big nazi swastika tattooed on his chest along with other hate symbols, such as 88 and 14. He even let me take pictures of him, but not showing his face.

You have white power and nazi tattoos?

a guy with sleeve length tattoos on both arms and tattoos on his neck.

His right arm was tattooed with 88 and the word "pride".

As for the beer, I bought a 24 ounce corona and a fosters. Sipping on the corona right now.

I am bothered that here we are in the 21st century, and that type of hatred still exist.

Is it in a brown bag while you are driving?

No one buys these kinds of things that isn't drinking them on the way home.

I believe you flamed me for my DUI in the past.

Good Game, not!

These kinds of stats don't mean much, you could work in restaurant chain or a call center.

ranks 1-3475 may be separated by only a few bucks per hour.

And people that think tattoos limit success or are even an indicator of success are probably low income morons.

Again, most people just hate everyone that's different today.

However; if you are customer-facing and in a real type of professional job, certain tattoos and piercings will be deal breakers.

It also depends on what you do. You can make $100k a year as an underwater welder with tattoos covering your whole body, but you will not do that trying to sell luxury items to many people.

Try getting a reputable job with tattoos and get back to us.

Tattoos are looked down upon in just about every employee handbook. If you can't hide them (Ummm especially neo-nazi tattoos) enjoy your life of unemployment.
My company condones tattoos and several people in fact display them openly on a regular basis. We are a company that handles industrial automation and integration, and provides project management services.

A tattoo with "88" and "pride" in it no more make the owner a racist than you drinking shit beer makes you a racist.

My boss has tattoos on both arms but he wears long sleeve shirts to cover them. I've been working for him for 4+ years now and I've NEVER seen his tattoos.

LOL TH drinks Corona. I figured a gay hater would at least drink PBR or some other similar gross beer. Corona is teetering on the edge of gay TH... Better be careful! If you drink too many you might start feeling a little tingle in your panties for men...

If TH had some tattoos, he might have gotten that tugboat job.

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis in my company has a number of tattoos - on her arms, legs and back. They're fairly tasteful and she covers most of them up. And probably makes around $150k.
