My personal attitude is definitely retrograde and bigoted, but what can I say? I still personally associate arms and chests crawling with ink with classless morons and losers.

Unfair in some cases, I know, but I reflexively put them in the same category of personal markers as poor hygiene, multiple missing teeth, general stupidity or ignorance, wretched grammar, or the need to loudly and constantly make racist, stupidly sexist, or crudely homophobic comments in mixed company.

Now get off my lawn!

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis in my company has a number of tattoos - on her arms, legs and back. They're fairly tasteful and she covers most of them up. And probably makes around $150k.

I swear on Bing Crosby's corpse that we cane-wielding geezers will all be dead soon enough, and this wretched world where women ask men out and sodomites can marry each other will all be yours, you effete, snooty-food eating Canuck!

Does that help? :p

I can not help it if yall do not know what a good beer is.

Corona isn't terrible, if it's summer and you have limes and you like that sort of weakly festive, beer-like concoction . . . but it most certainly isn't "good beer."

You can stick a lime in _any_ beer. It's doesn't have to be a skunky Mexican beer that tastes not much different than a typical Bud, PBR or Coors.

Corona goes well with lime, other beers not so good.

Good game though.

Lime takes the skunky piss taste off of it, which is lacking in pretty much all other beers, so I see your point. Then again, Budweiser sells a pre-limed lager beer, and they know a thing or two about selling beer. Their customer base mainly consists of rednecks, but still.

I went through a chelada phase, and found Modelo to be a good beer to use for that.

You mean it masks it. Heineken is another beer that is consistently skunky out of the bottle. By that logic, I suppose it too goes well with lime.

Beers that don't come in brown bottles are very susceptible to UV, which causes the skunky flavor. Clear bottles (like Corona) are obviously the worst for this.

Try opening a standard American lager that comes in a can, pour it into a glass, and leave it in the sun for just a couple of minutes. Presto, instant Corona!

However; if you are customer-facing and in a real type of professional job, certain tattoos and piercings will be deal breakers.

It also depends on what you do. You can make $100k a year as an underwater welder with tattoos covering your whole body, but you will not do that trying to sell luxury items to many people.

This is true. Being "the public face of the company" comes with higher expectations on appearance.

a guy with sleeve length tattoos on both arms and tattoos on his neck.

His right arm was tattooed with 88 and the word "pride".

Why would someone mark themselves so they will never hold a reputable job, never earn respect in the typical community and always be viewed as a racist? What kind of example is he going to set for his kids?

As for the beer, I bought a 24 ounce corona and a fosters. Sipping on the corona right now.

I am bothered that here we are in the 21st century, and that type of hatred still exist.

Why would someone mark themselves so they will never hold a reputable job?

Because he probably doesn't want or need a reputable job.

Never earn respect in the typical community and always be viewed as a racist?

He has respect in his own community, your community is not necessarily his. Clearly he believes what he believes to the extent that he wants everyone to know what he believes. Its the same as getting a tattoo professing your love to your girlfriend, except this one is racist. He also does not care if everyone knows hes racist because he probably doesn't associate with anyone who is not racist or not white.

What kind of example is he going to set for his kids?

Hes going to teach his kids what he believes. Just like Christians teach their kids to believe in Jesus or homophobes teach their kids to hate gays.

As for the beer, I bought a 24 ounce corona and a fosters.

I had to lay off the Corona on account of the weather, its too cold up here. Had to switch to good old Creemore Springs. Fosters is not a bad choice either.

I am bothered that here we are in the 21st century, and that type of hatred still exist.

There will never be peace among different races, racism will always exist, sucks.

Totally agree. I did not really know that was the case, but I was at a poor person's house the other day and that was all they had on offer. I choked it down, but good lord, pretty damn gross.

I've had it on tap before and it tasted ok. In the bottle? Never again.
