19 of em, have a couple in my collection on that list I haven't seen yet, most of the oldies (pre-1970) I haven't seen like Casablanca.

Just 13 it looks like. I would have to say that at least two of these are overrated in being this high.

[Edit] Wait, I have seen
10. 8.7 Buono, il brutto, il cattivo, Il (1966) 36,093
Just didn't recognize it outside of English.

I think that people have seen more than they realize, since a few of the titles are in their original language and might not be recognizable.

Shichinin no samurai = Seven Samurai
Buono, il brutto, il cattivo, Il = The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
Cidade de Deus = City of God (recent film)
C'era una volta il West = Once Upon a Time In the West (another Leone film)
Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Le = Amelie, with Audrey Tautou (sp?)
Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi = Spirited Away
Léon is probably more recognizeable, but nonetheless it's "The Professional" with Jean Reno and Natalie Portman.

Screw spiderman, where's Gigli?!

Seriously, though, the imdb top 250 used to mirror the AFI top 100 much more closely, with a few (mostly understandable) quirks here and there like Fight Club. Then it got more popular, particularly with fanboys, and it wound up a list of the newest big movies. Suddenly Star Wars, LOTR, and other blockbusters started infiltrating.

In any case, I've seen 44 of imdb, 33 of the AFI top 50 (with 8 more in my possession or queued up) and 58 of the Top 100 with maybe 25 more of them in my must-see list...
