I'm worried that Sarah Palin's going to be our next President.

I figure that about one in a couple hundred of your one liner posts offer some inadvertent and unintended humor.

I try to keep my own ratio to about one in five posts being deliberately humorous. But that is because I have a ribald and robust sense of humor, a natural advantage so to speak.

But thanks for being a critic anyway, it inspires me to do better!

You could learn a lot from one liners, your 500 liners just prolong the agony for the rest of us.

Unlike shira, I don't think you are stupid, just humorless. Why is that? Childhood trauma or something later in life?

I'm pretty hilarious actually.

It's also important to remember the complete contempt that I hold you in, so I'm not exactly interested in joking around with you.

I get that impression. Don't hold back. But make it worthy.

I get as much of a kick from an insult well rendered as I do a compliment honestly delivered. And I am really lacking for anyone to stand up to the challenge here, being as I am mostly facing self-styled 1%ers and maroons.

Must all of the insults and personal attacks by lefties be so mundane? You should attack those you despise with much more than a "me, too" following one lameness after another.

C'mon, just do it! Give it your best shot! :awe:

I can't stay online at the moment but will check in later, pardner.

No, you aren't worth it. Quite awhile ago I realized that expending my time to write carefully considered things in response to what you write was a waste of time.

Retiring from the field of battle without even an attempt?

May I suggest?

Now Miller I do like. He is not always going to be on target but even his failures are worthy. :awe:

Last time he was on target was back when he was a cast member of SNL..and a Liberal. Now he's like you, by the time he gets to the punch line his audience is bored to death.

He is still a liberal, but the definition of that word has changed so much that the people we should consider liberal are now incorrectly called conservative or libertarian.

It is unfortunate that the far left has abrogated the term but certainly not the spirit for they certainly are not for any type of liberty other than the absolute right to infanticide/abortions.

I sometimes listen to Miller's radio show as I drive. He still has some zing, but I wasn't around when he was on SNL so I can't make the comparison.

Hey, my punch lines are rare gems, well worth waiting for! But you do have to put up with the build up to understand them when delivered! Anytime I get right to the joke I get the critics like you on my case saying that it just ain't funny, so subtlety and hidden references have to do.

Would that you didn't conceal your humor so effectively...

Do you really think so?

Why is it that so many people here, like shira, can't cope with either reasoned discourse or humorous repartee

If you were capable of either AND knew when each was appropriate you might be able to hold my attention. But it's clear to anyone with even a modicum of intelligence that you retreat into I'll-misinterpret-every-word-you-wrote-in-order-to-post-insipid-irrelevancies humor in order to avoid defending your vapid positions.

There, now, I've wasted another two minutes on your useless carcass. Happy?
