I have middle of the road cards, either go low end and stick with low power consumption.. or go low end and OC it with a silencer and run GTX speeds.. or jump all the way to the GTX.
Evga makes free money on the GT OC and GT OC Superclocked versions, they do warranty the OC but its nearly guaranteed anyway. Thats why they do it.
$20-50 free extra cash is a lot to eVGA per card for nothing! They know the failure rate isnt going to be any higher on those cards.. they test those OC speeds intensively.
Heck you could flash your normal GT to a OC or OC Super if you wanted too. Or put a silencer on a GT and flash to a GTX.
I'll be running stock on a reference speed GT. Low power consumption and still "playing with the big boys". Ready for SFF if I wish. :thumbsup:
