Kinda sounds like Social Anxiety Disorder to me. Don't they have medication for that now?

whatever you decide... don't screw around with co-workers. My buddy is having a hell of a time trying to get rid of a girl he was dating from work. He can't get away from her cause she's always there. Plus the gossip is tearing him up. Its getting ugly.

There was a thread here too about someone dating a co-worker.... 8 ppl ended up getting fired or something.
Interoffice relationships are bad... very bad

That so called "Social Anxiety Disorder" is bullshit, IMHO. It just depends on how a person was brought up or how they handle themselves. I was an introvert and could have been fed tons of meds until I started to work and since then I have become much more comfortable in general.

Yeah I get nervous around a girl who I really, really like and who I have might have a hard time talking to. But what guy doesn't occasionally?

Although I have recently become "reunited" with a young woman (who is now engaged, damn!) who I met in childhood. And who is extremely easy to talk to, get along with, laugh with, etc.

It all depends...

Look at it this way: you're the man. You're the one in control. Nothing you do is weird.

Realize that's the way it is. Then try to talk to people. But, in the workplace, don't say too much bad stuff to higher-ups.
