I went to a job interview and something interesting happened. While I was there, the person interviewing me for the job (it was a clerical position) told me that I shouldn't stick myself in an office like that because I was way too smart. (Yeah, I know...yeah right. heehee) She said that I should REALLY go to school. Well, school was something that I'd been thinking of so I listened to her for a little while and she knew someone at a local college and called her. She had me talk to her and I called the college when I got home. They set up an appointment for me to go there at 1:00 today to talk to a woman there. Long story short, I start school on Monday.
I'm going to get an associate degree in Business Management. *Fingers crossed that all goes well* Today was the first day of classes there, but the students have Fridays off. So, I go in tomorrow to fill out the paperwork and I start school on Monday. It's a faster-paced school, so I'll complete the course in about a year. I'm really excited about it and VERY nervous at the same time. I struggle with fatigue and stuff, but I was going to try to work anyway and I might as well get a degree so I can get a decent job in a years' time. Plus, I called the woman that interviewed me for the job after I spoke with the woman at the college. She said that when it comes time for my externship, to tell the college that I want to work there and I can.
