they will talk to everyone you list, plus as a requirement for their investigation, they need to talk to X people you didnt list (but learned about through the others). well, at least for federal investigations...

But you won't fool the operator. And if you messed up the results you wouldn't get the job anyway. You need an overall average of truthfulness, not just inconclusive results.

Some polygraph operators will go so far as to have you take your shoes & socks off before the test, anyway.

When i went through it I interviewed with the Commander, Cheif and Training Sgt. They contacted everyone i put on my refernce list.
