Under no freaking circumstances should this damn game be stuttering on a rig like mine! Its driving me insane, for no reason at all, all the BIK videos play like they're on a frameskip, the game follows suit. I've tried reinstalling and repatching, its not doing anything. How the hell did this mess manage to get released? It even misses keypresses some times while I'm typing chat messages out!!!! GRRR

Back when I had an 3800+ x2, 2 gb of ram and a 7800gt, it ran like a dream... no studdering. User error?
4200+ X2, 2GB of RAM, 7800GT, it is not running like a dream. I'm certain its not a user error, some times it will refuse to start all together, and I have to reinstall the patch (1.12) for it.

Sometimes I think that too. I'll whail away at someone with the G36E, giving them 15-20 rounds to the chest. They'll look at me, shoot me once, and kill me.

Red name bug - Pisses me off to no end too
Sometimes not starting without reboot - BF2 takes it one step further on my system and won't start without a reinstall of BF2
Server browser, do something useful (don't refuse to load and servers, or hang for long periods of time when selecting servers)! - Server browser poops out whenever I try to use any filters whatsoever
The videos themselves play fine in RAD tools, and, I wouldn't have AGP Fast Writes turned on in the first place if I had a PCI-E board, now would I 😉?Originally posted by: nboy22
sheik124: the reason your bik videos play stuttery is due to a AGP fast write turned off in your bios settings, I had this EXACT same problem with my old epox 8k3a+ on midnight club 2, you can PM me if you have any questions.

Yeah I have this exact same problem, it pisses me off... I think it has something to do with lag.. The lag in this game is so hard to figure out.

The game just sucks, worst $50 I ever spent. We'll have to wait a couple more years for someone to make a decent "battlefield-esq" game...

Maybe you should play something else other than FPSes?

AW NICE NOW IT FREAKIN WORKS!
If wanting to play Battlefield 2 means having to reinstall it every reboot (I think that's actually when it all goes to the sh!tter, after a reboot) then fvck that
