innovations aside we should be more worried about those people that want to take our weapons away.

Fully automatic weapons are for n00bs. They only work for intimidation purposes, or if you have the bankroll to feed it belts of ammo. Quality>quantity every time.

Agreed. Real men can kill anything with a sharp stick.

Agreed. Real men can kill anything with a 12 gauge pump action shotgun.

REAL men just stab it to death with their rock hard penis.

Pushing that so called line back to include ALL FORMS of weapons innovation would only be fair to a law abiding citizenry. If you are not legally able to own a firearm due to former criminal acts on your part, are under a physciatrists care or underage then the prohibitions remain. Background checks also remain. Beyond that however, you should be able to own whatever your budget allows.

Thats kind of my point. They have done enough damage already. Its time for us to take back the gound we lost to date.

Pure explosives are not included for obvious reasons.

Despite being 100 year old technology, guns are still pretty damn effective. I'm more concerned with the government abridging our existing gun rights than locking us out of future technology.

Civilians should be able to buy non lethal weaponry freely. Guns should be only used for police and military purposes.

And doesnt that american constitution give you a right to bear arms?

As in, Bear arms. (I mean the big animal)

I saw a kid online who made a DIY flame thrower. It was sick.

A can of flammable propellant plus a lighter. Done.

That's not a flamethrower.

A flamethrower can actually "throw the flame" or propel the fuel faster than it can catch on fire so that the object you aim at will be covered in fuel then lit on fire (very fast).

It's not a torch.

Well, we all get cars and/or couple tonne trucks with as much gas as you want. We can and already do a lot of damage so I'm happy.

I yelled "dodge" and then proceeded to throw a ball at a little boy's head. Then I yelled, "See what you youngsters are missing?"

It's not the same anymore...just not the same. Times have changed, and people have changed.

If life reached us first, we're fucked anyways, unless we kamikaze the planet with nukes. Something to travel here must have technology beyond ours.

Im going to assume that you do not want to own a weapon or your country doesnt even allow you or your fellow citizens the choice. Since we at least have limited freedom to arm ourselves, an expansion of our rights shouldnt affect you at all.

Thats kind of like trying to invade China. While woefully unarmed, conventional methods might prove to be difficult against a population of 1.3 BILLION people. And I seriously doubt we would have the guts to self irradiate in a last ditch effort to stop aliens.

Yeah gun control is pretty tight here, but if your smart you can join a gun club and obtain a weapon that way(sport licence), also farmers have the right/need to own a gun. No automatics though. These licences are very rigid and lots of rules.

Even with these control methods if you know where to go, you can still buy guns. I have had customers in rough suburbs tell me all about it.

But yeah gun violence is pretty low here.... is that a bad thing?
