That's why I like Netware. If you delete a folder, you can usually "salvage" the folder without having to rely on tapes.

For all we know, the IT guys *did* do their job properly and then some tool on the business side cried and cried and cried because he "needed" to be able to delete any folder on the department server without having to go through IT....
