I'm proud to be a Californian!

I'd live in California, Oregon, or Washington, but I won't tolerate high costs of living. It makes no sense to me, so I just let all of you pay those high taxes to keep those states beautiful and I'll come and visit whenever I feel like it. 😀

If you have been to Manhattan NY would be on your list. Probably the best city I've been in for an extended period of time. I think any great city worth living in is going to have a high cost of living.

hobos pooping all over the place disqualifies SF for me:

The last time I lived in SF the only place I could afford was in the Tenderloin, a block away from a soup kitchen, and a couple away from Civic Center. You haven't really lived until you've seen a hooker smoke crack while simultaneously squatting and peeing in someone's doorway! But the worst poop in the area is in Oakland at Lake Merritt's rape tunnel. Its like a 100 ft under ground tunnel full of poop and pee. And theres the possibility once you go past the half way mark you will get raped or robbed. Most people would rather risk their lives playing frogger crossing the roads than use that walkway. But still, better than living in Deliverance country. 😛

I'm not seeing it, my whole fam is from SD and I've been there dozens of times, it's nice but not that great.

Mountains > Ocean
You're close to TJ which is just nasty
I'll admit the mexican food is pretty decent

Other than that....meh.

There are plenty of mountains in California, trust me I hiked up a few in boot camp.

Florida has it's problems, but at least the cost of living is relatively low.

Why you see all the freaky things happening there.

It'll be fun to see how proud they are when they run out of water.

Spend some more money on desalination plants. You got the coast, use it.

We've got plenty of water, for people. It's agriculture that uses 90% of the water that is having problems with water- to feed your sorry asses in other states.

You do realize that agriculture consuming water is still consuming water. You can't just solve the problem by saying "well it's agriculture!". Unless you want to tank your economy, which does need agriculture, you need more water.

But yes, if you guys would like to reduce your agricultural production that would be fantastic for us here in the north. We keep our water and get to grow more crops. Big win for us.
