Not only that, but his "question" had a nearly uncountable amount of defects in it (Really, how DID the cops find him? How long was he sitting out in the freaking car? Why didn't his GF bail him out? How the hell did the lady get 2 cops with her that late at night in such a short amount of time? Who the hell "leaves" their cell phone on a shelf just waiting to be picked up? Why didn't the walmart employee ask for the phone or inform the lady that AV was looking for her to return it? Why 8 days in jail?) Couple that with a non-remorseful thief/liar and I don't know how you could come to the conclusion that "Poor AV, ATOT was picking on him!".

No, I want you to treat him like a human being like everyone else. None of us are saints. Do you think people become better as a person by others being pricks to them? You keep beating them down and they just get worse. You are responsible for your actions, not his. Maybe I'm crazy, but I'd rather the world be a better place. It doesn't get that way by spreading hate. Every one of us has done bad things in our lives that we regret, should we all wear a scarlet letter? How is loving another human being wrong?

Oh so now we are being inhumane? Despite what sesame street or mister rogers tells you, people don't magically become nice when you are nice to them. On the contrary, AV has demonstrated the personality that would take advantage of people that try to pity him. The fact of the matter is, nothing we say to him will cause him to be any more or less of a douche bag. He is the only one that can change that.

How is loving a human being wrong? It isn't. However, lolly pops and skittles aren't going to make the world a better place. It is far more cruel to give everyone kudos for everything they do and never acknowledge that something is wrong than it is to tell someone flat out "What you are doing is wrong".
