I don't think Flash 8 for Linux exists. You can download either Flash 7 or Flash 9 beta.

The most frustrating thing about Flash in Linux is the issue it has with transparency and drop-down/slide-out menus. Firefox, Opera, and Konqueror all seem to have the same issue.
