Widescreen doesn't help with forums... Text is easier to read the narrower it is. Why do you think newspapers use columns?

That's why when you have two pages open side-by-side (or the web and a word proccessor, or any other program), like this.

agreed. that's a lot of wasted screen space if you have the forum open in full screen. you need to have something like one window for email summaries, one for forum, one for news, and a video window for "research"

ahh...i just got my 2405FP. its ri-dick-ulous! i have to clean my desk first before i can set it up.

So am I, but mine has a lot less screen area. I replaced my desktop with a Dell Inspiron 700m.

definitely a nice monitor!

But I why do people buy surround sound speakers only to put all 4 speakers in the front...almost drives me nuts...almost.

Very nice....except the background. You need to find a triplehead background...it looks ugly when you just reuse the same BG on all 3 monitors.

believe me i've looked for 5120x1200 backgrounds i've found maybe 1 and i didnt like it

at least run 3 diff images then
