A Delmonico.
I was thinking of marinating it. Maybe just seasalt and pepper.
Got any ideas aside from rolling it in the litter box?

How you going to cook it? I did an experiement last week where I broiled it in a cast iron pan, but instead of putting it directly on the pan, I put marinated onion slices down and then the steak on top of those. A little cracked pepper, salt, rosemary, thyme, cumin, and garlic didn't hurt either. (light on the rosemary and thyme)

It was the best feakin' steak I've ever had. My wife got on the phone to tell people about it after dinner it was so good :D

Cooking it on the grill.
Thyme would kill it for me. I hate it even worse than sage. :puke:

Au contraire, mon fraire.
Real jobbs suck. Ass.

I think I'm gonna go with the garlic, sea salt, pepper idea.
And corn on the cob.
Then I may work some more. If I feel like it.
I'd rather go work on the surround sound crap that's spread all over the living room floor. Or I may go out and pick tomatoes.

8-5?

screw that... unpaid lunches are for the birds ;)

I'm working 9-5 today and loving it. much nicer than the late afternoon shifts I usually work.

no lunch for me today, though. it's already almost 2 pm. no real point to getting something delivered this late when I can just cook something at home... think I'm going to cook some brown rice and throw a piece of boneless chicken on the george forman.

i've been marinading my last few steaks with worchestire sauce; it'll substitute for salt & pepper and has a bit of a kick/zest to it.

Rub it with actual minced garlic, coarse sea salt, cracked black pepper, and olive oil. It will be good.

That will be next time.
I gotta get some coarse sea salt and a decent pepper mill.
I do have some very nice olive oil.
