I'd have to say overall, Asus are my favorite folowed by MSI......and.....yes.....Abit! I Know, I know......but I STILL have never had a bad Abit board and they ARE some of the best Overclocking boards available!;)

To get it a little more "flamy":
The best mobo is the DFI K6BV3+ /66 !!!
Why?
2 MB Pipeline Burst Cache!
ATA-66 Support
Supports even the "new" Amd K6-X+ CPU's
Stable as hell

The only drawback:
The Bios doesn't support 133MHz FSB (the chipset does).

And BTW Socket 7 was the best anyway!!!!

cV,
I hope that DFI has improved customer service since I last dealt with them. The people at DFI America seemed to want to help. I don`t think DFI Taiwan was helping them too well. What an education reading DFI America`s message boards. Hope your MB stays happy.

Abit is suck. I would not ever buy an Abit board, although I've considered it.

Asus all the way. I've owned an Asus A7V and an A7V-133. Only complaint so far is that my A7V-133 won't post with a 150MHz FSB.

Asus as my first choice. Abit my 2nd.

Well....heck, just bout any mobo as long as it has an Intel chipset. We don't do VIA no mo'. (23) 4-in-1 revisions and they still can't get it right?

I love my Abit SA6R. Stable as hell and overclockable in 1mhz increments. The Raid controller is hot too.

For all you fans of the MSI boards, I hate to tell you that they have a reputation for being rock solid right up until they die prematurely, I know of about 5 MSI boards between me and my friends that have done this. Hopefully this is not true for their newer boards. I have an Epc 87KA and a 1.2 ghz athlon on its way

my favorite motherboard? That would be my old Intel 430VX-based board. If you mean for a modern chip, I really like my Asus P3V4X. Very few complaints. (mostly related to the fact that it's slot1 instead of socket370).
