I can pass you on the left, no prob. Right lane's for grandma going below speed limit or people preparing to exit. I always set cruise to speed limit in the middle, at 2nd or 3rd from the left. If you wanna go over the limit, do it at the far left lane.

Speed is not a factor in the majority of fatal accidents (at least not here). There are worse things you can do was the point, and driving below the prevailing traffic speed is not without risk!

5) Cultural difference... most of our roads have a normal and an overtaking lane. Came from being annoyed at being stuck behind someone driving at 40 mph in the overtaking lane on the way home and I was about the 8th car in the queue. The lights are fairly well timed, so if you drive at 40 you miss them all. That adds more than 1 minute over the journey. Here three lanes = motorway (interstate), lane discipline on them is also awful

Your statement had nothing to back it up either in your own words "put up or shut up". You can't blame all the problems of today on parents, especially if they weren't the ones that taught the fucktards to drive... From what I have heard the licence test in some states is laughable... maybe the finger should be pointed in that direction?

I didn't mean to sound rude with the put up or shut up comment but basically when I say that I just meant that your point was too vague (e.g. claiming I don't know traffic laws but not stating which one regarding to what I said) and you should provide some facts to retort what I said.

All in all I definitely see what you mean with the cultural difference of only 2 lanes in your area and 3 in mine.

I meant that impeding traffic was illegal, since it had already been mentioned. But you knew that
