Ever see Grumpy Old Men?

Put a dead fish in her computer case. She would never figure it out.

Place a speaker magnet next to the case closest to the HDD, then watch the errors rack up.

I find interesting new wallpapers and startup sounds to be quite enjoyable. I recently set a (l)user's machine to display backstreet boys and N'Sync pictures on his desktop. If he had sound, some human gas sounds would surely have amused his neighbors, as well as making him feel uncomfortably "fscked with."

I don't know if this has been said already, but I used to do this:

1) Install an REXEC daemon on her win98+ machine. (If she is a ditz, she won't see the icon down in her systray area.

2) Have fun! Important boss meeting with her in her office? Rexec sol.exe to kick up solataire, and then walk by saying "Oh, you criticize me but I can see you have time to play solataire!". Or write a batch file that brings up her browser and routes it to a porn site. Now that will learn her! The sky is the limit!

<< Do this and enjoy your day >>

LOL! The only problem with this is that we are in a newsroom (think of a trading floor) so there aren't any cubes.

<< Dude Do not screw with her machine and work. You will seriously hurt your professionalism and crediability. Talk to her and try to find out where she is comming from, if that doesnt work get HR involved if you have a HR dept. But please think about it before you do something dumb. >>

I am very aware of my actions and the forthcoming consequences, and it was actually good for me to vent here, as I got out of lots of frustration from work. I definitely consider your warning and thank you for looking out.

I'm not sure if she's that stupid, maybe if i made the rexec icon look like virusscan that might work... damn she came back to work today... heh
