Im freaking out !!

Hello,

I had Chronic inflammation for 1 year,
I was taking Omeprazole and it caused me a diarrhea and pain for a long time , about 6 months..

Now im done ( before 1 week ) with the omeprazole, I was happy that i got rid of the diarrhea an pain and being normal again , Until NOW!!

Im little embarrassed to say but i must say it here atleast before going to the doctor..

I was in the bathroom and saw a good amount of very bright blood in my stool,
"NOTICE" that after the diarrhea is gone i feel alittle pain in the anus while pooping ,
its like my anus got smaller somehow and not used to big poop...

Could it be the cause here? or its something else and dangerous? 🙁

Bloody stool is one of the most valid reasons you could have for seeing your physician. I suggest doing so as soon as possible.

Though in all likelihood you just have Hemorrhoids. Eat fiber, do not strain while having a bowel movement, do not put foreign or domestic objects in rectum. (Last part was a joke. lol)

Now that you're pooping normal you split a hemorrhoid.

Still go see the doctor but for the most part, bright red blood good, dark clumpy dried blood bad.

What the heck do you mean by "chronic inflammation for 1 year"?

Anyhow, bright red blood is usually hemorrhoids, as suggested above. Your diarrhea has predisposed you to this.

But if you have frankly bloody diarrhea over multiple consecutive bowel movements that points more toward ulcerative colitis.

The other possibility for larger amounts of bright red blood is diverticular bleeding.

Technically, there are other things such as a very rapid upper GI bleed, but you would be quite sick if that were the case. Colon cancer generally causes occult GI bleeding, meaning small amounts of blood that you can't see with the naked eye. Slower upper GI bleeds cause melena, black tarry stinky stools with digested blood.

I don't know what to rule in or rule out because basically I have no information about you, but I think there's a great chance that it's hemorrhoids or elsewise you would haven't taken the time to post about it on AT. The recommendation is to see a doctor, regardless.
